Situation Surrounding Kevin Durant’s Trade Request Remains Unknown

According to NBA sources, Kevin Durant requested a trade away from the Brooklyn Nets on June 30th. However, due to the high price the Nets have placed on Kevin Durants, no teams in the league have been able to meet the Nets’ wishes. Many teams have approached the Nets with a deal, but none have offered deals of a great desire to the Nets. Most recently, the Boston Celtics offered Jaylen Brown, and various draft picks in exchange for the two-time NBA finals MVP and two-time NBA champ Kevin Durant. Supporters of both teams and the NBA were shocked to hear that the Nets declined this trade as it appears to be fair for both times. The most likely case is that the Brooklyn Nets will continue to reject all trade offers with hopes of keeping their star player.
